Eyre Peninsula Boat Hire was established in 2006 to provide quality boat hire service. Licensed with Transport SA. EP Boat Hire maintains its boats to the highest standard and provides all the necessary safety equipment.

All users are briefed prior to any hire about the operation of the boat, location and use of the safety equipment and navigation in Franklin Harbour.

Our fishing boats come with fish finders/depth sounders, canopies, 27mhz marine radios and a comprehensive folder on fish regulations, emergency contacts and prime fishing spots within the harbour and other locations on Eyre Peninsula by negotiation.

The region is also well served by Cowell Air sea Rescue who operate rescue boats. We recommend the practice of advising them of your departure and return. (this can be done on board with the 27mhz radios.

We also hire crab nets, crab cookers, eskies, fishing equipment and have a small selection of; bait cool drinks, hats, sunscreen and fishing tackle for sale.

Once you decide your options for hire we can have the boat fully equipped ready for you to head off fishing. For the fanatic fishos there is the opportunity to spend your entire holiday fishing or if it's a relaxing break you're seeking, combine your day or week fishing and enjoying the attractions of our wonderful coastal community.
